The Lunchbox

Saajan (Irrfan Khan) is a grouchy and withdrawn widower who's counting his days to retirement after 35 years in a joyless job; Ila (Nimrat Kaur), meanwhile, is a sad and neglected housewife despite being a wizard of a cook. As the pair of strangers begin pouring their hearts out to each other in the hand-written notes they hide in the wrongly delivered lunchbox every day.
